450/18s Bring on the rain!

Crank Breather

I dislike hose pipe sticking out of my crank, running down the frame or flapping around in front of my rear wheel it looks ugly.

Please observe a 1/4 scale RC car carburettor filter doubles as a crank case breather. Neat and tidy.

New Shocks

Hagon shocks arrived so on they went, couldn't stop there so added my MOT end pipe (has a complimentary baffle in it) and balanced the rear fender so I could see where I could be going visually.

Lose the decompression lever and cable

Replaced decompression cable and lever with the head of Tie fighter pilot

Engine and Frame

Engine out, degreased, barrels painted, frame painted.

Tunnels and Tanks

SR400 Tank fitting, cutting out the old tunnel, widening to accommodate the oil filled SR frame

Final tank position established. Collecting the SR400 and Old Nick's XS 650

Engine back together

Engine back together and reunited with the frame. Whilst it was out the frame I took the opportunity to remove more of the paint from the crankcases that had been administered by the previous owner.
Another couple of days and Yamato should be breathing fire and travelling like Oni fujin, Hai!
