Some more proposed parts for the SR400

Some time has passed and I have started another SR. This time it is a Japanese SR400 import, it has the great front drum hub and is a very clean bike. All the parts are off it and now it is time to change the frame. I am going to lower the seat bracing by about 3-4 inches and de tab it next. Some pictures of the  donor bike when it arrived and stripped in the shed.
The intention is to use a battery lesser unit as was done on the second bike. Here are some pics of relocated regulator rectifier/ Battery lesser and CDI units from that bike.

  

A recent visit to Japan. Hooked up with Go san proprietor of Brat Style and Masa san, proprietor of the best bar in Tokyo 'Delight' in Tamagawa. Collected tank from Go san.
